Toys town: episode 2: colors
The second episode of our cartoon for young learners. This time we are learning colors. This topic includes 5 lessons. By the end of the block your child will improve speaking skills and will be able to describe things by colors. Follow the plan and teach your child even if you are not good in English. Our plans will help you.
Lesson plan:
Lesson 1. Watch a cartoon in English + online simulator for practicing and memorizing new words.
Lesson 2. Craft made of plasticine. We sculpt a caterpillar, following the lesson plan. + color matching game.
Lesson 3. Completing tasks on the site on online simulators.
Lesson 4. Draw with salt + game for practicing colors.
Lesson 5. Fixing the passed material. The game "Simon says".
Lesson 1
This lesson you watch the whole cartoon. At the end of the cartoon ask your child to repeat all the words after the author. After that open the link and ask your child to complete lessons 1-6 to memorize the first half of the new words.
Lesson 2
The second lesson you can divide into two parts. The first part you teach in the morning, the second - in the evening. The first part is about doing a craft. You will mold a caterpillar using our lesson plan and work with the colors your child learnt in the lessons 1-6.
The second part is about playing a game. A very simple but useful. Your child will like it.
Lesson 3
Complete online lessons 6-11. Practice the colors with the flashcards after that.
Lesson 4
Lesson 4 includes salt painting craft and a sorting game. Do a craft in the morning, play a game in the afternoon or evening.
Lesson 5
Lesson 5 is a final lesson. Play a game "Simon says" to practice language and check how your child remembers the new words. When you ask to find the color, ask your child to make sentences with this word(It`s yellow. I like/don`t like yellow). The rules of the game are below.
