You can set an English language atmosphere while making our suggestions about crafts. Give the instructions to your child in English, ask questions about the colour he holds and shapes he makes as well as questions about an object you are creating.
Your child might be so excited that he will easily remember all the information he learns and will be able to use it after. It’s a great way to practice language and develop fine art skills.
The following commands you can give your child during the lessons:
1. Take a piece of clay
2. Cut it/ cut a small piece
3. Make a shape/ make a square/come/triangle/rectangle
4. Make it flat
5. Blunge it
6. Fold it/bend it
7. Incise it
The following questions you can ask while making one of the steps:
1. What are we making now?
2. What colors do we need?
3. What color is it?
4. What shape is it?
5. Is it big/small/beautiful?
6. Do you like it?
Depending on your child level you can differentiate the questions, ask more questions or less.
