Cooking hand-made modeling clay at home

If you want to cook something with your child you can try to cook hand made modeling clay at your kitchen. It`s easy and fun. This modeling clay is very pleasant to touch, it`s soft and it does not stick to the hands, but at the same time the details stick to each other very well as well as the colors mix with each other.
Ingredients:
- hot water
- sunflower oil (or any other)
- flour
- salt
- citric acid
- food coloring

1. Pour 2 cups of water into a saucepan, add 1 tablespoon of oil, put it on the stove to boil. As soon as it starts to boil, turn off the stove immediately.
2. While the water boils, mix 2 cups of flour, 1 Cup of fine salt, 1 tablespoon of citric acid and mix all in a bowl.
3. Pour the hot water into the bowl with flour and mix. There can be lumps at the beginning, but the flour will begin to brew in hot water and the dough will thicken. When the mixture becomes less hot, begin to knead it with your hands. You should get a soft, elastic light dough that does not stick to your hands.
4. Now divide the dough into several parts and start to color it. To do that, put on gloves and pour a few drops of dye into the recess in the dough, mix it. Add more dye to get the desired color intensity.
5. You can even add glitter to the pieces, mixing them well with the clay and get clay that glitters.
