A detailed plan of classes at home with your child. Follow the plan and get results. If you do not know a foreign language well, then your task is to pronounce keywords and sentences in a foreign language and all key words and sentences are typed in bold in the plan. For clarity, perform tasks together with the child at the same time, so that he will understand you better and will not need to translate what is said. At the initial stage of training, the child may not understand what you are saying to him. In this case, you can explain what was said in your native language, so that the child does not close himself in. This is absolutely normal, after a few sessions, he will definitely get used to it. To make it easier for them, do not immerse them with unnecessary information that this is a different language, that they need to learn it, and so on. Use the following example to make it easier for the child to understand: show the child a ball and ask what it is, and then tell them that people who live in other countries came up with a different name for it, they decided to call it “ball”, so to understand them, we learn these names, and they learn ours.

Part 1

Print all flashcards or download them on your phone to use them during the lesson, take out all necessary things in advance.

P/T: “Good morning, dear! Today we are going to cook ice cream. Are you ready?

(show a flashcard with ice cream)

Child: “Ready!”

P/T:  “Nice! Do you like ice cream? Yes or no?

The answer “yes” or “no” is fine for your child especially if he is very young (3-5 years old) and has a starter level.

P/T: “That` true! Repeat after me: ice cream……ice cream…..ice cream”

Holding a flashcard repeat this words with your child 3 times.

P/T: “Very well! Now let`s watch a video about how to cook ice cream.

Watch a video. It helps to motivate your child to keep following you and get a desired.

P/T: “Hmm…And what color is ice cream?”

Your child may answer in English or native language, now it does not really matter, because he/she may say any color but your task is to come to an agreement that basically it`s white because it`s made of milk. But if say any other color don`t tell him/her that it`s not correct. Your child is right anyway but white is a basic ice cream color if it`s a classic ice cream made of milk. Discuss all that in your native language. After that show your son or daughter a flashcard with a white color and ask to repeat after you

P/T: “Repeat after me: white….white…it`s white.”

P/T: “Great job! Before we start we have to check if we have everything we need. Let`s have a look!

P/T: “Do we have yogurt? Yes or no?"

Show a flashcard with yogurt and ask to find it and answer.

P/T: “Nice! What about banana?"

Show a flashcard with banana and ask to find it and answer.

P/T: “Excellent! What about jam?"

Show the card with the word and ask the child to show this item. After your child finds all these ingredients, show the cards with these words again and ask the child to repeat after you. For example: you show a card with the word “banana” and then pronounce this word:

P/T: “Fantastic!  Repeat after me: banana…banana…It`s a banana.

Jam…jam…It`s jam. Yogurt …yogurt…it`s yougurt.”

Part 2

P/T: “Now we are ready to start. Now let`s mix all ingredients, freeze and enjoy it. Listen and follow me. Take yogurt and pour it into the bowl.”

Your child is required to pour the first ingredient into the bowl where you will mix everything. And your child can do it by self.

P/T: “Super! Take a banana, tear it and put it into the bowl.”

P/T: “Well done! Looks like you have a talent!”

P/T: “Now take a spoon and add some jam.”

We do these actions with each ingredient, so we put the required knowledge in your child. Without knowing it, he will remember all or almost all the words from the lesson. At the end of the lesson, you will be able to check this, and also offer to play on our simulators to remember the necessary words. By the way, all these steps every child can do itself.

P/T: “Perfect! Now let`s turn on our blender/mixer and mix all the ingredients! “

Mix all ingredients. Let your child to take part in the process. Let him press a button for example. After that pour it into ice cream molds and put it into a freezer. Ask your child about the color of your ice cream. A strawberry jam will turn it into a pink color. This is the second color you should teach your child that lesson. Show flashcard with the word and ask.

P/T: “Fantastic! What color is our ice cream?”

Your child will give you an answer and then ask to repeat after you;

P/T: “Pink…pink…It`s pink!.”

P/T: “So great! Now let`s put it in a freezer and while we are waiting let`s discuss our lesson!”

Part 3

The last part is very important. It shows whether your child likes it or not, which words memorizes, he or she can express his or her feelings about all that and you can see if your child is motivated to keep learning or not.

If he answers using a only a word you can correct carefully. Don`t pay much attention and don`t show if there is something wrong. He will definitely start making sentences in a while. Just don`t push too much in the beginning. Don`t forget to praise your child, do it as much as you can! If he can`t answer the word you can say the first sound of the word. In this case children usually answer immediately. But don`t worry if he or she did not start speaking on the first lesson, everyone can start speaking but everyone needs a certain time to get used to it.

Ask the following questions:

P/T: “Do you like ice cream? Yes or no? Answers: Yes/No?

After your child answers ask to repeat the following:

P/T: “Repeat after me: I like ice cream!”

P/T: “What is it?”

Ask this question and point to the flashcard with word you are asking about.  Ask about ice cream, banana, jam, yogurt  and point. If your child has some difficulties give a hint then. Your child should not think that it`s difficult but interesting. He will memorize most of the words by the end of the topic and when you will learn other topics all these words will be added as a words to review.

P/T: “What color is it?”

Review the colors: pink and white. Your child may answer saying the sentence or only a word. Both variants are okay. After that discuss all the steps you did in your language. Let your child express all the feelings about it.

The more he tells, the better he will remember what he has passed, the child learns to think, correctly build his speech. During these sessions, the child uses both hemispheres, which contributes to full development.

Due to the time is needed to freeze your ice cream and your child will be long for it, you can offer to complete our online interactive lessons about ice cream, banana and any others to review the words and have some fun spending time with benefits for your child`s development. Finish your lesson by saying:

P/T: “That`s all for today. I`m very proud of you!”
